Ratatouille
Today, Michaela and I went with Debbie & Matt to see Ratatouille (rat-a-too-ee) or as Michaela calls it - Ratpatootee. I must say that the animation from Pixar is getting more and more impressive. You really do forget that you’re watching a cartoon. A few times during the show I had to lean over and ask Debbie if she was ok. Debbie has a deathly fear of any type of rodents. In a few scenes there were literally hundreds of them running around on the screen and she was clearly unsettled – despite the fact that these rats all had cute personalities, were funny and well, weren’t real. I won’t say too much as to not reveal too much of the movie but there were many laughs and I was entertained. I wouldn’t say that the story was as good as Finding Nemo or Monster’s Inc. Perhaps I need to see it again to figure out how I really feel about it. I liked it very much but I am not sure if I loved it. I will say that the animated short played before the movie was REALLY funny. I enjoyed that a lot!
