Exactly how will this genocide take place, Mr. Edwards? And what are we to do with people who break the law and are legitimately convicted by the courts? Shall we not incarcerate them because the jails just aren’t following the rules of affirmative action?
Is having so many people in jail terrible? Of course it is. But what is the point of making this huge deal about which race is represented more in the incarcerated population? Couldn’t it be because more black people are committing the crimes? Shouldn’t the message be that maybe folks like Bill Cosby and dare I say it, Barak Obama are correct in stating that perhaps the people of their race should get over themselves and start to be held accountable and be responsible for their lives? But then again, heaven forbid that these men have a thought of their own. Because if they do, then you have people like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton accusing them of not being black enough. Who’s the racist now?
