My Name is Kris and I Blah-g

Apparently, the spammers have chosen today to target my blog. It resulted in the crashing of several websites which resulted in my brother sending me emails to fix it. I am not sure how I can prevent the bots from targeting my blog. But I have taken some steps to help slow it down. Luckily, I am using a plug-in that catches very nearly 100% of the spam. It won’t post the spam without my consent but it still bogs down the servers. So, I’ve decided that if you want to comment – and I welcome your comments! – you need to subscribe to the website and sign in to leave your comments. This is just an added security measure and something to keep the bots busy trying to overcome. Hopefully this will help.UPDATE… Okay, you don’t need to log in to comment. It made my site look weird to have that function turned on. So, I got rid of that BUT you now need to enter a code to submit your comment. I know that’s annoying but so is having to log in. So, well..sorry. All in the name of preventing spam and server meltdowns!!
