It’s Groundhog’s Day
Ever see that Bill Murray movie Groundhog’s Day? The poor man wakes up each morning and the exact same thing happens to him as the day before. Each morning he is greeted by Sonny & Cher singing “I Got You Babe.” Well, that poor man is now me. But instead of Sonny & Cher I have an 11 year old American Eskimo crapping all over the house! This time she didn’t keep it all on the tile in the entry way. I pulled double duty scrubbing the entry way floor and shampooing the upstairs hallway carpet. *sigh*Eventually Bill Murray’s character learns from his mistakes of the day and makes changes and his Groundhog’s Day ends. I wonder what changes I will have to make today to make sure that I don’t get another repeat tomorrow? So far, I have cancelled my morning walk which is probably not a good idea. But on the other hand, if they’re watering the stupid lawns again, then maybe it is a good idea I just sit this one out. We’ll try again tomorrow. Luckily for me, I don’t feel a bad mood coming on. Remember the Charlie Brown cartoons? Whenever Lucy or someone got mad, a black swirling cloud would appear over their head, they’d grit their teeth and they’d go, “AAAAAAUUUUGH!!!” I swear that yesterday I had that black cloud over my head all day. The only that took it away was a brief moment in time in the early evening when the sun came out. It sure was good to see that sun.Go away rain!
